HETA offer HNC in the following disciplines:

  • Electrical & Electronic Engineering,
  • Operations (Instrument Control) Engineering and
  • Mechanical Engineering

 

Course Costs & Structure

The HNC programme is for both apprentices and engineers working within industry. It has been designed as a partnership between the student, their company and HETA. It is offered as a part time day release option:


Day Release: This course provides a two year, one day per week programme. Course materials will be available both in the centre and on-line. You'll attend the course for approximately 80 days over the two years at The Lawns centre based at The University of Hull. The cost for a 10 module day release programme is £2700 +VAT per year (2 Year programme)

Entry Requirements: Current Advanced Apprentices should achieve a Level 3 VRQ Advanced Maths & Science. Applications from 'mature' engineering technicians with suitable equivalent qualifications are welcomed and previous engineering experience may be considered as evidence of suitability for the course.

  • Details of any other relevant qualifications you hold (should you feel they support your application),
